Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome to our wonderful school in the heart of Engadine.
Engadine Public School has a proud tradition, dating back over 90 years, of providing excellence and opportunity for our community. Our commitment is to ensure that every student learns, grows and belongs in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where diversity is celebrated and valued.
Our evidence-based teaching builds strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and wellbeing, ensuring students graduate with the skills, confidence and resilience to be life-long learners. We recognise that wellbeing is fundamental to learning, and we actively support every child’s growth through programs that nurture their social, emotional and academic development, ensuring every child is known, valued and cared for.
At our school, every learner’s potential is our priority. Guided by high expectations and equity in excellence, we provide opportunities across the creative, intellectual, physical and social-emotional domains. Students engage in weekly art studio lessons, annual musical productions, choir, dance, and enrichment programs, with senior students accessing extension opportunities through our partner high school. Success in sport at PSSA, regional and State levels highlights our commitment to fostering physical development, while leadership, resilience and student voice are promoted through our Student Representative Council, wellbeing officer and school psychologist.
Engadine Public School thrives through strong partnerships with families and community, a key priority of the NSW Plan. Our active P&C and wider parent community work alongside us to enrich learning experiences and strengthen connections between home and school.
I look forward to welcoming you warmly into our great school and community.
