At Engadine Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Sports Carnivals
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Before and After School Activities
Students have the opportunity to participate in a range of enriching before and after school activities, including Chess Club. These programs encourage strategic thinking, problem-solving, perseverance, and social interaction, while providing students with the chance to develop new skills and interests in a fun and supportive environment.
Dance Groups
Students can join our dance groups, led by an external provider before school and during lunchtime. Throughout the year, dancers perform at a range of special events, including School Open Day and Grandparents Day, celebrating their hard work and talent with the school community.
Choir
Year 2 students have the opportunity to perform in the combined choir at the Sutherland Shire Music Festival, showcasing their musical talents alongside students from across the region.
Science
Students participate in a diverse range of science experiences throughout the year, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a passion for discovery.
Excursions
Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of excursions and incursions throughout the year, enriching their learning through engaging, real-world experiences.
Sutherland Shire Schools Music Festival
Our school is proud to be part of the Sutherland Shire Schools Music Festival, celebrating music, creativity and connection across the Sutherland Shire.
