About our school

Engadine Public School

Our school has a rich history, having been planned for, from as early as 1918.

The original school was established as "Engadine Provisional School" and opened its doors for the first time on September 13th, 1932. This school was located on Railway Parade.

Commencing with 39 students, the school soon had more students than seats! After much persuasion from the local community, the Department relocated the school to its present, more suitable site. Schooling on the current location commenced on May 21st, 1935 with 89 students.

Today our school provides quality education, in a caring environment and we have approximately 360 students.
